What Zelda Game Should be Remade Next?

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "Now, on the heels of the most recent release for the franchise, a full remake of the Game Boy classic, Link’s Awakening, for the Nintendo Switch we think the time is right to start looking forward to what Nintendo might have in store for us down the road and ourselves which Zelda game they should remake next."

Part 2, it was unique and seriously hasn't been done in a Zelda game since.

Make it a true 2D side scroller in the same design as Dead Cells. Add more weapons and dungeons. And definitely, definitely improve the last boss and ending.

Don't even need a remake. Port Windwaker HD over to Switch. It's a no brainer.

I’ve been waiting forever for that. But since they have already re-released it on the Wii U, I don’t think they want to do it again for the Switch.

Glad you enjoyed! Loved this game, and always felt it wasn't appreciated/talked about enough. Capcom did an admirable job handling the Zelda franchise w due respect. Loved the shrinking mechanic. :)

Minish Cap and Oracle of Ages do something that the 3D games haven't quite achieved in my opinion. With the exception being Majora's Mask, as I would say it more captures the spirit of 2D Zeldas.
