WTMG's Leo Faria: "All in all, Jet Kave Adventure succeeds at what it wants to do, but it doesn’t do a lot more than that. It’s a simple and straightforward 2.5D platformer, clearly inspired by Donkey Kong Country, that can entertain players for some time with its momentum-based gameplay and handful of collectibles. It’s not jaw-dropping, it’s not visually impressive, nor does its soundtrack hit the right notes, but I still had quite a bit of fun with it. I was expecting it to be yabba-dabba-dull, but it ended up being yabba-dabba-decent."
"Join us at Thumb Culture as well take a look at the platforming masterclass that is Jet Kave Adventures." Gareth @ Thumb Culture
KeenGamer: "Strap in for jetpacking platforming hijinks in Jet Kave Adventure. With nothing but his wits and his trusty club – well, and a super-powered jetpack – can you help Kave save his tribe from a mysterious alien and an impending volcanic eruption?"
Playing with the keyboard vs a controller but here is what happens when you give a Caveman a Jetpack.
Strange game: either gets 9s or 6s.
