Is the Xbox One S All-Digital edition doomed to fail?

The rumored console was finally confirmed. Microsoft announced its new Xbox One S. But, is the Xbox One S All-Digital edition doomed to fail?

Why wouldn’t it? It’s really not a benefit to anyone since you can easily find standard Xbox One units for the same price at various retailers.

It's a sad state of affairs for this Microsoft console.

This is a piss poor insulting experiment by Microsoft

No 4TB HDD, mediocre discounted price, not ergonomically different, & they have the nerve to bundle Sea of Thieves in there as opposed to a higher quality game

It is a total wasted opportunity.

I would always recommend getting the regular XBO S over this 'All Digital' version, even if the regular S was slightly more expensive (which it isn't: It can be found cheaper than the new 'AD' version at many places)

Why would you deny yourself a great BR player!? Even if you're going 'all-digital' with your games (which you can also do with the regular XBO consoles), it's always good to at least have the disc drive there in case you need to watch a BR movie, or whatever.
