The Player 2 team looks back at 2018 and points out the games that failed to live up to our expectations.
Fallout 76 has seen many changes over the years but the veterans agree there is one addition that was a real game-changer.
Missing a lootable item was part of the game. Random and chance helped make Fallout so much fun and interesting. This just makes it lazy and disconnected to the simulated events. An interesting feature, but Where are all these veterans that agree so hard?
Fallout 76 players have seen a rise in issues plaguing the servers with the main issue being the "post player join failed" error.
Just put in a different fallout. I hope they turn this into a single player game after their done milking people
GB: "After its disastrous launch all those years ago, many players are rediscovering Fallout 76 and how much it's improved."
For the first time ever you only need to list one, just one game on the annual "Most dissapointing" list because this year we had a game that encapsulated all that is wrong with games and developers these days.
Namely: Complacent - taking their fans for granted and never improving, well on anything. Arrogant - Release a barren, incomplete game so far removed of what previous entries offered at full price knowing that today's gamer is conditioned to suck it up and wait for them to "finish it later". Lying: See E3 Bethesda press event for more.
Bethesda is the most dissapointing gaming aspect of 2018, by far.
I applaud the bravery at saying RDR2 is disappointing. Fanboys and a lot of the press outlets are giving it a free pass because it's a R* game and are never able to argue the valid criticism that people bring up about the game and why it's disappointing. While games like Fallout 76, Sea of Thieves, and Metal Gear Survive were just pure abominations and far worse than RDR2, you can't be disappointed in games that we all knew were going to be terrible from the beginning.
To add, I'm pretty shocked at how disappointed people are with the PSOne Classic. I didn't get one myself but seeing how many people were upset and the reasons why just makes it look like Sony really didn't put much effort into it.
