Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition coming to PS Vita

Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition, which is currently available for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC, is coming to PS Vita, physical distributor Limited Run Games and developer Screaming Villains announced.

Exactly. It's kinda ridiculous to call it "one of the worst games ever made" when it was perfectly fine for the era it came out in.

It's merely a product of its time. Most of the negative critique about it over the years, and I think a lot of people's current perception, is due to just how bad the acting was. Even at a time when in game acting was pretty bad, it was even worse. Big deal was made about Dana Plato being in it, and she was kind of famous at the time because of Different Strokes.

I don't think that many people actually played it though. It's one of those cult classics that has become infamous over time. But a lot of the recognition it got was due to it also being one of the games, along with GTA, that was used to exemplify the violence in video games....which eventually led to the ESRB. It actually was kind of a violent game.
