John from DSOGaming writes: "The Shenmue I&II collection has just been released on the PC and as you may have guessed, it features a lot of low-resolution and blurry textures. Thankfully, modder ‘Drogean’ is currently working on a HD Texture pack for it and has released its first version."
Daily Video Game writes: "Today, Xbox Store has just kicked off four new digital game sales that offers huge savings on various Japanese and retro couch co-op games, as well as games from popular publishers for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One gamers!"
GR: "In the 15 or so years between Shenmue installments, the fanbase has gained a reputation that they are obnoxious. While that might be true, their fanaticism and love for the series comes from a very real place. Having revisited Shenmue 1 and 2 HD recently, its innovation and historical importance still shines through."
They have a recap video you can play if you don’t have the time to play the first 2. However playing the first two is ideal.

I'm happy to be getting the games at all, but it's a shame Sega and D3T couldn't spend an extra few days adding these things themselves. It's been 4 days and fans have already added widescreen cutscenes and HD texture. If fans can do it in such quick time, then there really is no excuse for a team of devs to not do the same.
How many gamers here brought the superior PC version???
Now for some character model replacements lol. Next shuld be Nicko Bellic as a playable character in Shenmue!

Hmm, not bad, missing the tree textures as of now, but nice that they kept the look and feel, usually these HD texture packs can completely change how the game feels, but this stays pretty true to it's source
