Might be in a minority here but I didn't enjoy any of the sections playing as Atreus or having companions at all. If I had my way it'd be Kratos on his lonesome from start to finish. Straightforward action gameplay without the endless boring chatter.
Well, they save it for a sequel. Just like the the first God of War game on PS2, there was only one god in God Of War (PS2). It was Ares. Yes, we did knew Zeus was in God Of War 1 but never see face to face until God Of War 2. After all, Sony Santa Monica is planning Trilogy for this game.
@michellelynn0976 - I am not saying Zelda is bad or anything, just that i like GoW more than it. Also, both cant be compared because they are in two diff genres. Its apples and oranges.
Yea one issue I really had was story. Loved the Norse mythology, but the main premise for the story was dumb. We must climb a big ass mountain and have an adventure because your mom's a pain in the ass. Plus it just geeky like it ended abruptly. Other than that game was great.
