Plenty of immature and ignorant people on the planet to watch this garbage. Of course they are mostly "young adults". Until they grow up and realize just how stupid it is. The cycle will go on.

Big_Game_Hunters2414d ago (Edited 2414d ago )

Watching peopl kick and throw balls around is so much better, especially the part where they go on riots because their team doesn't win. So mature

Cyro2414d ago

Can you elaborate on what's so stupid about it? It's pretty immature and ignorant to just straight up say it's garbage.

V0LT2414d ago (Edited 2414d ago )

As an adult I find esports to be boring. The announcers make situations more hyped up in the games than they really are. It's like they are trying too hard.

Scatpants2414d ago

I'm a news photographer and on Friday nights I have to shoot high school football games. I'm always amazed by how staggeringly boring it is.

Eh, if people can sit and watch people running a ball around for three hours I'm not surprised other people get something out of watching other people play video games they can just play themselves. I think it's stupid, and I hate how every other multiplayer game tries so hard to draw in the esports crowd, but whatever. If this hastens the death of ESPN I'm all for it.

Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors: "I deserve a lot of criticism."

Embracer CEO demonstrates a masterclass in mental gymnastics in latest interview.
"I'm sure I deserve a lot of criticism, but I don't think my team or companies deserve all the criticism. I could take a lot of that blame myself. But ultimately I need to believe in the mission," he said.

Turned based Phantasy Star and Shinning Force remain at the top of my list of Sega IPs that need to return. At the very least I'd take a Shining Force collection that has 1,2,3, CD and the Game Gear entries.

FinalBoss6d ago

I was hesitant to put these two on. I've personally played more PSO than the RPG version. And shame on me, I don't remember much about Shining Force to talk about it properly.

That said, so many Sega licences deserve their place in this list.

jznrpg4d ago

A new Phantasy Star in the numbered series would be amazing. Shining Force too. But I’d settle on some collections as that’s probably the best we will get

anast6d ago

I don't trust Sega to do a proper comeback. The games will be just remastered and/or monetized to death.

shining force.

but indont see that happening unfortunately.
