The developer of Garry's Mod has announced it is in the process of removing all Nintendo-related content from Steam Workshop after receiving a takedown request from Nintendo.
Remedy has made a couple of changes to its core management team with the goal to grow Alan Wake and Control into larger franchises.
Changes like not being anti consumer? putting out Alan Wake Remastered on disc but not the sequel?
CGM Writes: While we were over at PAX East, we were able to sit down with Goichi Suda (Suda51) and talk about the upcoming remaster of Shadows of the Damned
I always enjoy how the titles of these articles are always taken out of context.
Doesn't matter what system this game is on, its DOA without co-op.
For those that do not want to click
(Developer said this part)
“We’ve been working on this game for about three and a half years ago years now, three and a half years ago we were saying the things we were building at for,” he said. “[The Switch was] just not a system we intended to fully use or optimize while we were making this game.”
(Writer of article say this part)
Which makes sense- development on the game started long before the Switch was even a thing, and the Switch, with its unique architecture and hardware, probably did not figure into Volition’s plans. Of course, whether or not that changes for future games by them remains up in the air, for now.
I agree with writer of the article, but he did not have to choose such a click bait article title, plus its expected, any game that come out this year and maybe some of next year wont be on the switch since developers did not get their kits until this year, we can blame nintendo for that, or just move on and see what future brings
This game makes perfect sense for the switch. Sad developers are not working on it now.
Another day, another game NOT coming to Switch.....
This is getting to be very, very common.
