The second round of this hack-and-slash spinoff brings back some old-school DQ flavor but stumbles over some dull non-combat elements.
NE: "Dragon Quest Heroes debuted in 2015 before Square Enix came back with a sequel a little over a year later. 2019 is just about over and there’s no news about a third entry, so we’ve been curious to know if the series has a future."
Why does Square Enix have two spin-off series called Dragon Quest Heroes?
One is about the slime while the other is about actual DQ characters in a massive crossover
Nintendo Life writes: "Last June, there was a rumour Wolfenstein: Youngblood would be making its way across to the Nintendo Switch. The idea of this happening came about when a GameStop employee revealed the game was listed for Switch and this followed with it appearing on the company's website."
Been waiting for DQ Heroes 1 and 2 for nearly 2 years now nice to see it finally come (if this is true).
In Japan DQ Heroes 1 & 2 was on a 32 gig cartridge. Everywhere else will probably get one physical and the other be a promo code. Figured Youngblood would get ported. It would be odd if it weren't considering they were pleased with how 2 performed on the Switch.

Too much dragon, not enough questing
DQH II is getting solid reviews. It's currently an 80 on Metacritic. Crazy how many quality PS4 games are coming out already this year. No matter how much MS wants to boast about 6 flops it won't matter if they don't start getting some games on their system. I know DQH II isn't technically a PS4 exclusive but it's not on xbox and Edith Finch (PS4 console exclusive) just released and is an 89 Metacritic. Atm xbox is falling woefully behind in terms of games. Games need to be their focus heading into E3.
A warriors game basically. Think I'll pass.
"While Dragon Quest Heroes 2 improves on the original's combat and world, it still stumbles a bit in the quest to transition Dragon Quest from it's RPG roots into a game that feels at home with hack and slash action"
Who said that is what they were going for ? If that is what this reviewer was looking for then he has the wrong idea of what this game is aiming to be. It's not a hack and slash action game and it's not an RPG, it's a combination of the two. it's not looking to transition from anything into something else.
