DualShockers reviews Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, a visual novel from the mind of Kotaro Uchikoshi containing 999 and Virtue's Last Reward.
Escape room number one, then proceed to room number two. Why? because it's littered with some of the best escape room games you can play
Richard writes: "Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is like a mix between a Telltale game and an old school point and clicker, taking the best from both of those genres."
Neil writes: "If there's one genre that's seen a huge uptick in fortunes over the last couple of years, it's the Visual Novel. Coming in all shapes and sizes, with a multitude of ideas running around in them, the Visual Novel scene has really taken off. One of the franchises that has helped that explosion is found in Zero Escape: The Nonary Games - a title that has now reached Xbox and PC shores through Game Pass."
Only played VLR on vita but it's an amazing game, excellent writing, interesting path line structure that evolves through the game. It's a VN / room escape game for those who haven't heard so if those aren't your cup of tea then you probably won't like this but for everyone else, what are you waiting for?
999 was only out on the DS when i played VLR so it's nice to get them both together.
