Are flash sales this week? I thought I heard its always the 3rd week of every month.

xHeavYx3087d ago

Yes, the flash sale should start sometime this week

theXtReMe13087d ago

I hope so, because this is the second week in a row with almost nothing decent on sale. Very depressing. ;)

What the hell is going on here?? No themed sale for 3 weeks straight?! I don't know why, but I've gotten the habit of getting excited for Tuesday's now... However, this is starting to concern me....

SilverDemon3087d ago

Maybe because its the beginning of the year
Or they are planning something for us
Either way,I hope this doesn't continue
I WANT MY THEMED SALES BACK!!!!!

sullynathan3087d ago

no game I want is ever on sale

tinchotin3087d ago

Then stop bitching, get a job, work a couple of hours and buy them.

spaceg0st3087d ago

I'll check the PS Store out in a few hours when I turn on my PS4..

I always look forward to loading it up and seeing all the new weekly releases/discounts.

Need something fresh to test out my new Platinum Wireless headset... I'll probably just end up playing BF1, The Witcher 3 or Uncharted 4 though.

Bismarn3087d ago

Someone go over there and check if Sony is okay, because we've haven't see any decent sales in weeks.

joethetimelord3087d ago

If I recall the last time this happened the flash sale was really good.

That controller looks like a cheap knockoff... it should have been a proper DS5 design.

...the VR aspect in 7 IS the redeeming quality.

Abriael1d 6h ago (Edited 1d 6h ago )

what a dumb take.

Ace Combat 7 is one of the best games of the past generation. It doesn't need VR gimmicks to "redeem" it.

TheColbertinator22h ago

I have enjoyed nearly every single Ace Combat to death (except that helicopter shooting one) and have never needed VR once to enjoy it greatly

PapaBop13h ago

^^^ I'm guessing you've never actually tried it in VR then? VR elevates games like this way beyond just a gimmick, just ask any GT fan who owns a PSVR 2. You may not need VR to have a good time but it's an absolute game changer and something that shouldn't be dismissed as a gimmick.

S2Killinit13h ago(Edited 13h ago)

@Abriael
Spoken like someone who never played it. But who are we kidding. We know why VR hate. No one is fooled here.

Abriael12h ago(Edited 12h ago)

@PapaBop: I tried it in VR before any of you ever did, since the game wasn't even out yet. It's a gimmick, disjointed from the AC7's main gameplay and far removed from its best parts.

It's nothing more than a limiting factor, as Ace Combat's most complex missions require hardware power to be focused on other things. That's why the VR missions are very basic.

If you think Ace Combat's strengths are even close to the platform it's on, VR or non-VR, you obviously aren't an Ace Combat fan.

In any case, I suggest you folks prepare yourself for disappointment. There's a reason why the VR gimmick was never expanded, and it's that, besides a few fanatics who care for evangelizing their VR fad more than they care for the franchise, no one gave a flying F.

The developers are going to use the resources to make the whole game better for everyone instead.

VR was the best thing that happened to Ace Combat. You kidding?

yeastori11h ago

VR is perfect for this type of game wdym

Abriael10h ago

It's a perfect way to limit this type of game.

CrimsonWing691d 7h ago

Look, I’m a simple man. I see Ace Combat and say, “Yes!”

Abnor_Mal1d 6h ago (Edited 1d 6h ago )

Can we get a new Ace Combat, with full vr and not just three or four levels, for PS5 and PSVR2
Also if we could get a remake of my all time favorite, Ace Combat5: The Unsung War, again with full vr for every mission with DualSense and flight stick haptics.

yeastori11h ago

I just want them to remaster AC4 and AC5, a new AC with better more realistic looking world and planes would be great too
