They're bleeding from the site's layout.

What are you talking about? It's practically the same layout every other gaming blog uses....

The red is a bit bright.

Seeing as how this game is based off the same engine behind Half Life 2 I would not expect the game to require much to play it. Also - the screens don't look very good either. The game itself (by today's PC standards) looks archaic.

I have a modest setup (Windows Vista, 2 gigs of RAM, Athlon 64 X2 1.9GHz dual core processor and a Radeon HD 2400 XT card) and I never know if I should even bother trying to play games on it.

My computer is hooked up to my HDTV and my home theater system, so it would be nice if it could handle modern games.

AKA n64 graphics for you Xbots in mass denial

Judging from the graphics, I wouldn't expect the requirements to be very "expensive".

why would you need a crysis rig to run the Source engine? you could use your same system from playing Hl2 on PC from 6 years ago im sure.

Silogon3746d ago (Edited 3746d ago )

DAmn! I was hoping it was going to push my system a bit. My Pc is a monster that can handle anything I've tossed at it so far. I'm running on the absolutle newest of new Alienware specs with 8 gb of ram and a graix card that can cripple Crysis into submission, even.

Had you watched any of the game?...I have been saying this since the game was first shown...pretty much ANY PC will run it...its just Source with some lighting tweaks (although killzone 2 like muzzle flaring does look awesome when up close)...

Source has seemed dated looking to me for several years doesn't look 'bad' really...but far from state of the art...this game won't push even the turdiest of business laptops...mine included, which is good for me I guess since I don't own a 360...and who knows what will happen with the PS3 rumors...the game does look like a lot of fun though...I hope a PS3 version gets worked question that the PS3 could run the game...I just have more friends on the PSN that would buy it than PC...
