Zelda’s producer wants to touch players’ hearts and surprise them, but didn't want the relationship between gamers and Link to be lost if he had a voice they did not agree with.
With Sifu already on the handheld, Pocket Tactics asks Rematch creative director Pierre Tarno about bringing the new soccer game to Nintendo Switch 2.
In an industry with countless FIFAs, sorry EA Sports FCs, Sloclap’s Rematch is a brilliant arcade football game that feels incredibly unique. Putting players in the shoes of an individual player, the new multiplayer game is essentially Rocket League without the rockets and cars… it’s football.
Sloclap's Rematch is far from done with major improvements on the way for the multiplayer football game after launch.
Any multiplayer online game that doesn't launch with crossplay is a big skip from me...
" but didn't want the relationship between gamers and Link to be lost if he had a voice they did not agree with. "
So just like I said in another article; no VA for Link was a good choice because, even if the voice was good, it might not match how people imagined Link to sound in their minds, which would create a disconnect and would make the experience a lesser one for them.
They did good by not forcing VA.
The whole "It's *current year*, follow this standard!" trope BS needs to die. Not everything that's common needs to be followed to make a game better.
