Xbox One now costs the same as Xbox 360 on Microsoft's Store

Xbox One consoles have been reduced to £199.99 on Microsoft's Store, making them the same price as the 10-year old Xbox 360.

The Xbox One was failure from the reveal. The 360 was leader in diferent markets. Now the market is bigger and when same are doing the math they need to remeber that too.

Phil spencer already stated that the Xbox One is selling more than the 360. It was during the giant bomb interview after E3 last week.

So in order to debate facts you link a video of him saying it has, then he stumbles on his words while he does it. If you can provide hardcore evidence and give us numbers then we could settle this. Until then, word of mouth doesn't cut it for facts.

Because Phil hasn't been running his mouth this whole E3, and he's never lied before.

Considering NPD numbers and past history from other markets, it's very very unlikely the xbone is outperforming the 360.

If Phil wants to claim that he can give us hard numbers or he can go home.

Don't waste your time. The N4G analyst say MS hasn't released hard numbers publicly so Phil can't be trusted.

It's not like the man hasn't stepped in and turned everything around for Xbox in the last couple years or anything. He's shown that he's making Xbox One what it should have been from the start.

@utalkin2me So coming from the mouth of the head of Xbox is not enough? Sony, Nintendo or MS have no duty to release numbers to the public, but they do. MS are not giving numbers because they know they're behind PS4. Sony did the same with the PS3.

As far as I know they're selling more than the 360. In no way Phil spencer would lie in that interview about sales of the console, MS are a publicly traded company. if he gave false information about sales, that's misleading the shareholders a.k.a fraud.

1. I dont play PC.

2. Its actually true. 360 and PS3 were actually huge leaps in graphics fidelity for their time and held their value.

3. ReviewTechUSA called it before they came out about the chips they carried. They were gonna have somewhat of a hard time hitting 1080p 60fps. Ergo, mid gen consoles bringing stronger chips to the market and bringing down X1 and ps4 price.

Microsoft is done in the console race and console exclusives business as a leader & innovator @the forefront of it, personally don't believe in coincidence nor the notion that things happen by chance, but let everyone be persuaded in his or her own mine, having said that personally believe MS failures are nothing more than scripted pages being played out like a playbook, the END GAME being is a Partnership with Steam, making the XB1 compatible with it.

MS should be worried they lost more than half the market share so while many of you may say sales don't matter MS's actions say otherwise. The Scorpio is proof of that MS lost and they want to reboot and fastrack the new one as soon as possible.

I was looking for a 360 just the other day, simply because the XBO doesn't have the full BC yet and there are still some games I love to play on my 360 (Mark of the Ninja and Dirt 2 for example), and it seems they're becoming very hard to find. My old Phat still works, but I would like to have a back-up, just in case.
