Sorry but the developer is the developer of the Etrian Odyssey series. So no.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory2898d ago (Edited 2898d ago )

It does. It just that you vita fans refuses to accept the fact that it won't come to the Vita. If it does it won't even be the same game.

Dungeon crawler on 3DS with map on bottom screen at all time where you can draw it yourself or edit it. Which is why this game is on 3DS. FACE IT.

No, it doesn't matter who the developer is. Unless they are owned by Nintendo and I am unaware of that then there is zero reason Vita can't get it. And it would be the same game. They just need to rework the controls a bit, not a big deal at all. FACE IT.

All 3DS 3rd party games would be better on Vita (1st party too actually) so they should all at least be ported there. Same for Mobile games, send them Vita's way.

Protagonist2897d ago (Edited 2897d ago )

Unless Atlus or any other companies are getting paid by Sony/Microsoft/Niintendo to make the games exclusives, the games should be available for all gaming platforms, as long as they are strong enough. Port all the Persona games to the Nintendo Platforms, port all SMT games to other platforms etc. Let the gamers decide which platform they want to play it on, as for example it is done with games like Zero Escape and Zero Time.

I mean! dont the companies want to make money?

KentBenMei2897d ago

I think it's just greed. Companies don't bother expending even minimal resources if the return is not great. IMO that is a disservice to their fans. If there is any profit to be made, and it is a simple port, then it should be done.

Protagonist2894d ago (Edited 2894d ago )

Exactly and if Chunsoft can do it with the "Zero" series, so could/should other third party gaming companies.

Also it was indeed a disservice to their fans, making Persona Q only for the 3DS.

KentBenMei2892d ago

Yeah, the Zero series hardly did good enough to warrant sequels, let alone on multiple systems, and with full dubs and special editions, physical copies, and such. Really, Square can't port a Mobile games to 3DS/Vita, though? What a joke. Well, they can, but Vita got Hitman GO and Deadman's Cross...lmfao, yeah, those are the ones we wanted and would do well.

Protagonist2892d ago

I honestly never understood the choice gaming companies make, "here is a game you loved in the past, now buy the next in the series for another platform". Ok I perfectly get it, when for example Uncharted 4 is exclusive for the PS4. But when games change platform on current generation, that´s just a strange business choice. And yeah, is it really that hard for Square to port Final Fantasy Agito for the 3DS/Vita. That is just incompetent!

with 2DS so cheap it's kind of - no problem here. Got mine for 70$

A beginner's guide to Persona

Atlus’ Persona series has exploded in popularity. This means there are not only mainline installments, but also ports, updated releases, reimaginings and spin-offs. There are all interesting games that do cool things with elements from the series, but it is also a series where you probably shouldn’t go and begin with the very first game. Fortunately, it isn’t difficult to find a good starting point.

Frome what I remember, the PSP version of Persona 3 added the ability to command your teammates in battle? There was something different/better about battle for the PSP one. I remember noticing because I played 4, started 3 on PSP, then started over when i got the ps2 version.

I would def recommend playing either 3 or 4 before 5. the menus and the colors and fonts and everything in 5 was just SO MUCH to get used to. I felt like it was a comic book and an episode of JoJo at once. Amazing game, though lol
