'I have never been a fan of the Dark Souls games. While I can recognize that they are good games, tales of the soul-crushing difficulty have always put me off. I play games for escapism and the all-round fun that they give. The idea of dying repeatedly, for little to no progress, just doesn’t make me want to play the game. After playing hours of Dirt Rally, though, I can understand the appeal of Dark Souls.'

I really miss the rally sport series on xbox. Good to see Dirt able to keep the rally racing vibe going on xb1. My personal favorite is the more arcade styling of sega rally.
I loved the Rallisport Challenge series, but DICE are a bit busy with EA right now!
It's good to see this series get back to being similar to the early Colin McRae rally games, rather than the more Gymkhana and extreme sports stuff of the later Dirt games.
