Techland Puts The Pedal To The Medal With Dying Light: The Following ‘Weaponize Your Ride’ Trailer

Techland has released a new trailer for upcoming Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition, showcasing the game’s three-fold nature of vehicle development.

The GOTY version comes out on February 9th. It's called Dying Light The Following Enhanced Edition. It comes with the game and all of the DLC.If you haven't played it I'd highly recommend picking it up on the 9th. This was my personal GOTY last year. Shame it wasn't recognized more since it came out so early I guess people just forgot about it.

Admittedly i haven't played Dying Light yet, and the worst part is i'm a huge Dead Island fan. I will pick it up for sure, it better not be over $40.

Technically the game looks stunning with an incredible looking parkour system and satisfying looking combat, but it surprises me that the story almost looks worst than Dead island's. I thought Techland wanted to free themselves from the shackles of Deep Silver and tell a truly deep story?

From all the reviews and let's plays the characters seemed weak and the story cliche. I still want to play the hell out of it though.

Well if you enjoyed Dead Island you'll LOVE Dying Lying. Unlike Dead Island Dying Light feels like it has high production values and big money behind it. Techland definitely went from a good developer to a great one with Dying Light. It's going to be $60.00 for the Enhanced Edition, but seeing as how the DLC The Following is going to be $30.00 that's not a bad deal. Dying Light was probably the best $60.00 I spent his year.

Does The Following have a campaign and does it include a new platinum? Or at least more trophies? Assuming that The Following is a huge expansion i'll probably pay full price for Dying Light Enhanced.

Did Techland actually improve the visuals or technical aspects in the Enhanced Edition?

The Following has a new campaign, a new map thats twice the size of the base game, and numerous new weapons and characters, and multiple technical improvements. All on top of the already incredible main game. I think you'll enjoy it and find it more than worth the price.

looks fun - I'd have gotten this if it had come sooner - I sold the game 6 months ago.

You can pick up a used copy for $25.00. That's what I did because I did the same thing as you. I think it's coming at a good time though, a year after the base games launch gives people the chance to crave playing the game again.

I was thinking about it, but I'd already deleted my DL saves as well and I don't want to replay the game to get strong enough to play the following.

No problem. Also if you've deleted your save you should be able to download your save from online storage in the settings menu of your PS4.
