Far Cry Primal Looks So Boring

As i really enjoyed fc4, i will most likely enjoy this as well. Fc4 was my first entry in the series so maybe it was more of the same for the rest of you as ive heard that a lot, but i still cant form my own opinion until the reviews are out and i play it myself. If its just fc4 with dif weapons and scenery i will be dissapointed. I can say i enjoyed fc4 much more than the recent release of just cause.

You should go back and play Far Cry 2. It has the best atmosphere out of all the Far Cry games. You will actually feel like you're in Africa when you play it.

Ubi should revisit Far Cry. Whatever happened to Jack Carver anyways? The open world stuff they pioneered in FC2 mixed in with all the animal powers and mutated beasts found in the first game would be bad-ass.

Horizon looks amazing but I also think Wild looks good too.

Wild looks 100x better. Horizon and Wild look stellar. This looks...ok.

People complain and complain there is no innovation, the do the first game that I can remember in primal times with beasts and people still find a way to complain! I can't wait to play this!

This was suppose to be the blood Dragon of Far Cry 4, but Far cry 4 probably did not sell as expected now they have to sell this as a full game to make back their money.

Was a little turned off when I saw the gameplay demo, it seems a lot less about survival are more about pew pew just with spears instead of guns. I like it when games find a sweet balance between the combat and doing other interesting things. Like how Uncharted and tomb Raider have good combat but then they have puzzles and platforming sections.

Point is, don't let him get you butthurt because a lot of people don't like your country('s government) and don't know that there's a**holes in every country, which causes that perception. Stereotypes will exist, and the gun stereotype is more of a statistic, guns sell amazingly to Americans in marketing.

Also, everyone likes getting hammered and being rude, they go together so well ;)

Remember how Far Cry 2 did just OK in sales? Then it took 4 years to make 3? Then they tasted some nice sales and acclaim and are right back to trying to get them out as quick as they can every 2 years, this one is actually coming in less than 2.

I cant help but wonder how many times they think they can recycle Farcry 3 before people stop buying. I mean, FC3 was awesome, but I dont think the formula is as recyclable as something like COD. WAs kind of hoping that new gen would bring an insane push forward for Farcry, because FC3 was so damn exceptional last gen.

agreed... looks like they took everything awesome about farcry over the last couple installments and dumbed it down and made it as boring and horrid as they could... melee combat looks awful, instantly taming wild animals and having them do most of your fighting for you just seems so boring, severe lack of weapons obviously compared to previous installments, like i said, dumbed down the quantity and the quality of things in the game massively :/

Looks fun to me. You would think people would want to have some variety and not just the same old thing with a different map.
