On a small stage, tucked away in a corner of the Baltimore Convention Center, four members of the XCOM 2 development team are talking to the Firaxicon crowd about modding. Specifically, they're talking about The Long War. "I do not know how they were able to do what they did," says Jake Solomon, lead designer of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM 2. "I know how," says XCOM 2 lead engineer Ryan McFall, "and it's kind of scary."
The PS5 is an incredible console, and if you're lucky enough to have one, or have just received one for Christmas then you'll already know there is a host of great games out there.
What you may not be aware of is that if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium, you'll actually get access to a huge catalogue of titles to play at any time. Many of which you can stream without having to do any downloads. If you have a PlayStation Portal you could even play these titles from your bed.
Damn the only one I’ve played so far is Miles Morales, although I do own Control and Rift Apart.
Odd list. Where is Horizon Forbidden West? Ghost of Tsushima? Demon’s Souls? Returnal? And fun indie games like Superliminal? Where’s “A Plage Tale Requiem” and “Evil West”, the current PS+ Essential offerings?
Like seriously? Those are games Extra Tier can get - so not worth upgrading to Premium
RPS talks to Marvel's Midnight Suns director Jake Solomon about how he reacted to the public negativity around its card based battle system.
Honestly game was a real pleasant surpise. I dont even like marvel like that, but I loved the gameplay. Really fun and addicting, sad to see the game just didnt do well.
I'm still looking forward to it. I have yet to buy I but I do plan to. I'm a huge xcom fan and I feel this will hit the spot. Card base battles is a bit of a turn off but I feel they could pull it off.
It was great until the DLC trophies bugged out and they never fixed it. I beat the game twice and then they wanted me to beat it another 4 times for the dlc trophies. That was pretty lame and I moved on.
Imagine X-Com 2, with Marvel characters and powers.
Yeah, would have rather had that
