Skewed and Reviewed have posted their final set of images from the 2015 Gamestop Expo and they show tons of great stuff for gamers to look forward to.
After reports that Gamestop was looking to find a buyer for their company in the face of changing consumer patterns and economics; it was bittersweet to learn that the company is also halting their Gamestop Expo. I am curious who may buy them. I would think they would close some stores and push more of an online focus.
Las Vegas played host to the Gamestop Expo this year and aside from the numerous great games, they also had a nice mix of celebrities on hand as well. Mark at Skewed and Reviewed has posted some images from his coverage of the event.
It is funny how this flew under the radar for most as they had Quakecon going on and PAX West the following weekend. We have covered it for a few years now and it keeps growing and growing. They had media come in one day and other days were open to vendors and such while the public had two days.
This year's GameStop Expo 2017 will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on August 27, 2017.
