Patch 1.05 out now on Xbox One & PlayStation 4

Patch 1.05 has just gone live and is now available across the worlds to every gamer who owns The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

If you are after the ps4 version you might want to wait a bit more until they fix framerate, every other version I don't see any reason not to get the game now. Realy been enjoying this game and many of my initial problems with it have now been fixed. Don't think a game like this is ever going to reach perfection tbh, just too big with too much stuff going on to track and bug fix everything.

game was working perfectly for me on 1.01, after 1.03 i started to get a few graphical glitches.Like some of my items in my inventory would look weird and distorted, my camera would move down by itself after extended periods of time, but I think that got fixed. That said, I haven't ran into anything game breaking yet and i'm level 24.I don't notice any frame rate issues though I don't have a trained eye.

@Aenea I've grown numb to a lot of the crazy stuff people say on the internet, I didn't even notice exactly what he said lol.I wonder how many glitchy games he's sitting on now, dude just blow in the cartridge your super smash bros still works theres no patch coming to fix the dust!

I just want a patch to fix the long ass loading times. A minute plus for loading is unacceptable. This is the only problem I have with the game. No one ever mentions the loading times of this game. Ps4 version, no one else is bothered by the loading times?

It's a large open world game, not really sure what you were expecting, but doesn't really bother me.

Been rocking an SSHD since PS3, AND ALL LOADING TIMES are 10%-30% faster.
That goes for system bootup, sleep mode, apps performance, thumbnail loading, and, obviously, game loading times. Even (to a small degree) LOD streaming in open world games.

And all that's without mentioning the added storage space.

There are no loading times in game. Only when loading up to start, or to reload a save. They are the longest loading times, compared to fast traveling in the same area.
I'm not bothered by them. I don't die a lot either, so perhaps that has something to do with it... just less loading screens.

this game does load between cutscenes sometimes. i thought the developers said there where no long load times like in bloodborne which is a lie?

ps. I don't even notice the load times before cut scenes, as they are a couple seconds for me.

In regards to overall loading times complaints these days, I find them somewhat silly. Somewhat.

Of course I've been gaming since I had a Commodore 64.

I'm more concerned with the little delays/lag when opening and navigating the menus. Reminds me of all those Xbox2 games that had laggy menus... so irritating.

Menus should be FAST. Always. In every game, ever. There is -no- excuse.

I only have a couple of complaints. 1. The horrible inventory system. It is the biggest pain to navigate. 2. Not being able to climb our jump in combat.

Can everybody asking them to fix the frame rate stop. I haven't got the ps4 version but if the frame rate is like hitting 20 or so then the only effective way off fixing that is to either lower the resolution or reduce quality of the game, possibly foliage, textures etc. They cannot simply fix this frame rate issue completely, without reducing the quality.

Thats not entirely true though, frame rate can be gained through optimisation of code.
Project cars and the latest batman are two examplaes.

You misunderstood what i said. Let me give you an example say the ps4 version hits 20 fps like i've seen it do, to make that frame rate go from 20 to 30fps is an improvement of 33%. Yes you can get the frame rate from say the initial 20 fps to 24 fps that's possible as optimising code can do that, but to optimise code and get it to hit 30 fps consistently is near impossible. Project cars has improved frame rate by 7% not 33%, also you cant compare this game to the witcher as it is a closed off circuit game compared to an enormous open world game. If they somehow manage to get the ps4 version to go from 20 to close to 30fps consistently in the most demanding areas i'll take what i have said back.
