Breakout Studio has today revealed more details on the dynamic weather that will be featured in the forthcoming MMO Life of Rome. “We’re in the final stages of testing a new dynamic, high-fidelity sky rendering and weather system for Life of Rome. There are no sky boxes or static elements, everything from the clouds to each individual star is it’s own individual element with appropriate movement and behaviour. Ambient sound effects, advanced rain and snow weather effects, multi-layer dynamic cloud formations and beautiful night sky rendering.”

This ambitious massively multiplayer online role-playing (MMORPG) experience aims to allow players to set foot inside ancient Rome with the aid of the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD). This week sees Breakout Studio launch an IndieGoGo crowd-founding campaign for its title, looking to raise some £10,000 GBP in order to bring it to PC in the future.
