Remember that awesome Terraria type game that came out in Early Access some time back called Starbound, a game which had been making the waves and then seemingly disappeared from the radar of most people? Well, it seems like the devs at Chucklefish have been really busy and a new stable update is now available for everyone to download. The update is almost 1 GB big (827.2 MB to be exact) and comes with a hell lot of new features, pets, teleporters etc. among other things.
Starbound a crafting and exploration adventure game developed and published by Chucklefish is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
The latest episode of Dev Diary is a chat with Adam Riches from Chucklefish studios about his work on Wargroove, Starbound and more.
Terraria was a smash hit selling ten million units and still growing, and not only showing that Re-Logic was a force to be reckoned with but it also showed that Minecraft did not have to be the only building game. Rather than going for a straight clone of Minecraft, Terraria moved to a 2D adventure game, that had a wealth of combat, and bosses as well as a more meaningful progression than Minecraft. Overall, Terraria was an impressive game.
Oh cool, I haven't played in quite a while... Might be time to jump back in.
Dammit thought it said Scalebound...
