Gamer's Palace: "Crimes & Punishments: Sherlock Holmes is a very solid game around Sherlock Holmes. The stories and investigations are exciting and you can benefit from your own powers of deduction and attention, even if the game helps in lots of situations. That you can have false results in the end is nice, but unfortunately it is not always clear why solution 1 is false, but solution 2 valid.
While Crimes & Punishments: Sherlock Holmes moreover comes up with great scenes and a good atmosphere, the technique has significant flaws: Strong tearing, stuttering and audio dropouts and quite long loading times are probably due to the weak PS3 technology. They can really spoil the fun of Crimes & Punishments: Sherlock Holmes."
Frogwares, developers of the Sherlock Holmes games, is thanking fans and those in the industry who have shown them support and kindness over the last week with some free exclusive behind the scenes content from their Sherlock Holmes games.
IM PLAYIN discuss this month's games with gold.
"Xbox’s Games with Gold initiative has been a tad disappointing of late. Sure, they’re free games so I’m not going to complain too much. But the quality of those titles has been a little lax. I’ve been waiting for a month where we’ll be given a relatively big game – one that’s packed full of content and has been relatively well received. But, to my surprise, this month we’ll be getting two of them."
Next month's free Games with Gold titles will include Lords of the Fallen on Xbox One and the original Borderlands on Xbox 360, according to a new rumour.
