Ubisoft Clarifies How 'Permanent Item Loss' Works in 'The Division' Dark Zones

PvP is a large part of many games these days, especially for ones that are based online. For Ubisoft's The Division, PvP sounds like it will play a large role in the overall scheme of things, and they explained how permanent item loss will work within the game's Dark Zones.

I really hope this game delivers.

Its just oozing potential. I hope its what everyone thought Destiny would be. Dont get me wrong, i still love Destiny and still play it daily ever since launch, but this? This just looks and sounds so amazing.

Come on Ubi...dont let us down.

Couldn't agree more with you pizza man!

That's Pizza the Hut to you bub! lol

The Division has the potential to be the first truly great multiplayer experience for the next-gen consoles. Hopefully it's as good as the trailers portray it, god knows Ubisoft doesn't need another Watch_Doges on it's hands.

this game, similar to watch dogs, got me hyped up, but lets hope it doesnt follow WD's footsteps. AFAIK its not being developed by the same ppl that made WD and AC:U, so we can have hope.

I kind of like this idea.

Choices mean more now.

Found an awesome piece of loot/item.

Do I run back and extract it so it's mine forever, or do I risk pushing forward a bit to find even more stuff.

If I do, I could risk losing it, but if I go back I could risk not finding something I'm close to that I may need later.

* Also allows for people to group up and help each other and also for rouges and bandits to go solo and hunt and steal everyone's stuff.

Most likely the "permanent item loss" will be your game saves!
I don't trust these guys anymore.

You do know that Ubisoft has different development teams, right? Ubisoft Montreal (AC, Watch Dogs) has nothing to do with this game.

So much potential. Let us hope it is not a repeat of all Ubi releases so far this gen. I am NOT buying this day 1. I will let them work out the bugs.

Ubisoft's Recent Antics Have Me Fearful For The Sands of Time Remake

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

*Ubi takes gun, aims at foot, empties clip*

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
