Telltale Games: A Microsoft Story?

Seems like a smart move for both parties. I've never really gotten into Minecraft but I can see that changing after Telltales' outing. I stopped after the original Borderlands game, but after playing TFTB I jumped straight on Steam and purchased 2 and the Pre-Sequel.

That is a super interesting point actually. I guess that is the exact definition of a successful spin-off. One that entices a lapsed fan back into the fold by trying something new and then gets them reinvesting in the core titles!

I just want Telltale to do 2 things. Improve your engine to remove bugs and performance issues first. Once that's done, try your hand at making a Blade Runner game.

What I would do for a Telltales Blade Runner. I just really hope they don't go all Traveller's Tales and start covering every blockbuster franchise. It'd be great if they kept expanding lesser know universes like Fables. What I really want is a Telltales thriller/conspiracy game set it the Oddworld universe.

I'd love to see them tackle some less mainstream products as well, Dark City or Sin City, even minority report could be cool.

I kind of want Telltale to slow it down a bit. Their games don't feel special anymore. Maybe if they took a few years off, tuned up their engine, and then released a game or two.

I agree, they could have an approach like blizzard, do less releases with more polish. Even if it pushes out the production time to a number of years, it makes each release so much more meaningful!

I'd like to see Telltale continue to grow, and persist with consistent releases. That being said, I'd settle for a game plan, some sort of outline looking at the next few years of releases. Kind of like Marvel's Phases.

Like, announce The Walking Dead Season 3, let us know that it won't be out for another 2 years, then give us a few reasons why the wait will be worth it.
