At Electronic Arts' pre-E3 event, IGN got to check out the progress that is being made on the Nintendo DS edition of Skate It. Unlike the Wii game, Skate It DS is more of a portable version of the original Skate. It doesn't take place in a disaster zone, but the familiar San Vanelona setting.
All tricks are drawn on a virtual board on the touch screen. Skate introduced "flick it" controls to skateboard games, and Skate It aims to reproduce this method with flicks of the stylus. To get going you simply tap either side of the board to represent pushing with your foot.
