And we're not just talking about top tier adventure and puzzle titles that have realised how much better they can be on touch devices, but bespoke games purposefully geared towards the pick-up-and-play immediacy of smartphone and tablet gaming. Speaking personally, my smartphone and iPad overtook my 3DS and Vita as my handheld gaming platforms of choice. Supercell has released its new squad-building action game Squad Busters in Spain, Mexico, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Canada, and Singapore. This game features characters from different Supercell titles, such as Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Hay Day, Clash Royale, and Boom Beach.

Leniu Games has started taking pre-registrations of its Nordic fantasy open world MMO, Flame of Valhalla. This game features the War of Gods erupted in the mystical realm of Asgard, known as the land of gods as seen in various movies and TV series. The game is expected to release in first half of May 2024.
