Following Ellie as an older version of herself will be amazing. Either that or introduce well depth characters like herself. I loved controlling her in The Last of Us so I wouldn't mind doing it again.

Nah the story would be about new survivors, they find out there is a girl immune to the spores. Your group sets off on a mission with hopes to find the girl and make a cure. The game will lead you to believe the game takes place many years after TLOU 1 but you later find out it takes place only a few months after TLOU and Joel is the final boss protecting young Ellie.

They have to make a sequel, they just have to. The game is amazing, and ended in a way that left it wide open for a sequel.

I felt both happy and sad at the ending, sad because Ellie really didn't seem happy towards the end of the game, I really couldn't be sure of what was on her mind. So it left me feeling a bit empty.

I hope not, but if they do. It should be about new people. This story is over they did a play to end it last month. If they do a sequel with Ellie I fear that the story won't be so good, we've seen her life her story. We also know what must happen to save humanity, so why would she even be in a second one, what would she be fighting for? It just doesn't make sense when we have all of the answers already.

I'm surprised by so many peoples saying no, that the story is complete, and they would just ruin it.

I think Ellie is an amazing and complex character, and they could make a sequel go so many ways.

Joel lies to Ellie at the end, and I'm sure she will end up finding out. And there will be friction between her and Joel, their relationship is what made the story unique. I could see Ellie rebelling and being conflicted on to sacrifice herself for humanity or not.

I don't know, I think there's a lot of interesting stuff they could do, and as long as Ellie is the driving force behind the game, I think it could be really good. She's just that interesting of a character to me.

I respect you're opinion, I can totally respect that side of the argument, maybe it is over.

But I'll be honest, a "Play"? A play means nothing to me.

They did a play about a month ago that ended the game... Ellie knows Joel lied and she is mad at him but they are still together fighting the great fight... how did yall miss this play?? I would look it up for you all but you can do it yourself. The story of Ellie and Joel is over even the writer said so that's why he finished it as a play and left the ending of the play open ended.

I don't care what or who it's about. Just set it in the same universe. That game is pure gold. I started playing the multiplayer and that's a blast as well.

I don't see how not. Story makes a sequel optional. I played this game for the first time and enjoyed it. I didn't cry though. Maybe im too old or weird. The sounds and enviroment were awesome. I love all the small details and effects. Character animations were brilliant. Story dlc should have been longer.

I hope not. What we got was good enough. Hope they give us something new instead.

I hope not as well. TLoU is a masterpiece by itself and should be left like that, not every successful game need a sequel. I'd prefer another fantastic story in a new ND game.
