Titanfall Gets New Artwork, Info; Will Have "Titanfall Specific" Game Modes; Beta Signups Soon

The excitement around Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall is growing, and today the developer released a batch of new assets and information on the game.

It would be cool if they had a game mode were it is 1 titan vs the rest of the players and everytime that player titan dies it shifts to another player and scoring is based on who will hold out the longest as the titan

I feel like I keep getting news about the beta that isn't really news. I am so ready for it to start but I know virtually nothing about it... except for the fact that it is happening

I need a start date. Any info on # of maps and game modes would be great too.

So they are adament about not showing Alpha footage but are totally fine with showing the Beta footage... seems to me there may be truth about the Alpha footage being old build / low textures not being final.

Can't wait to learn more about the Titanfall specific modes. Something tells me these are going to be cinematic story like missions.

My biggest question aside from all of this great news about this very interesting game is..... will we get 1080p or 720p? I love my XB1 but as a consumer I would like Respawn to just man up and tell everyone what it is already and stand by it for whatever it is. I am sure it will still be great but come on already - unless the March driver and OS update is what they are hoping will help them hit 1080p. Gonna be an interesting next few weeks.

Ummm you clearly haven't been on n4g the past couple of weeks. Lol. You missed all the xbox one hate. The droids were out in full fource about titanfall being 720p 60fps. Apparently if a game isn't 1080p 60fps this gen then Its crap. Also yesterday you missed an insider knowing more about the game than a dev does. A typical day for n4g.
