John Finch reviews CastleStorm on the PlayStation 3: "The solid mechanics feel great once you’ve acclimated to the control scheme and the castle editor allows for multiple gameplay styles. If you like tower defense games, I highly recommend picking up this solid game."
Now available on Nintendo Switch, CastleStorm is a light-hearted take on the tower defence genre, and it’s fantastic.
I almost want to get this. I've played Castlestorm before on the Vita, and it was pretty good.
Zen Studios’ Castlestorm makes its way to Switch, polishing gameplay from a number of other games and bringing in its own humorous writing to tie everything together.
From Nintendo Everything: "CastleStorm is coming to Switch, Zen Studios has announced. The mashup of 2D physics destruction and tower defense brawler hits the eShop on August 16. Here’s some additional information about the game and a trailer: Raze castles and conquer your rivals in CastleStorm on Switch."
This game is awesome. It gets really difficult later in the campaign, but even just building castles to knock them down is extremely satisfying. Highly recommend it.
