Ubisoft talks the most "disgusted" 'Assasssin's Creed' multiplayer ability

If you've ever stepped foot inside of the multiplayer in any Assassin's Creed game, chances are you have an opinion on each and every ability in the game. Whether it's Morph, Smoke Bomb, or Poison, you have to hate at least one of them. When we had a chance to sit down with Tim Browne, lead game designer at Ubisoft, we spoke him about what ability the community seemed to hate the most and how they were remedying that in Black Flag. (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, PC, PS3, PS4, Tim Browne, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Not sure about what ability. But more along the line of the whole multiplayer game itself. People want out of the box. A large open world game like AC needs a open world online. Like a Co-Op of 2, 3 players that could get on a ship and sail to locations to take out targets. Be it in forts, castle or in a ship fleet. It just needs something fresh. The whole walking around in a square has gotten old.

While I respect that opinion, I think AC's multiplayer is one of the best, simply because it forces players to play more strategically and patiently. I think it's a magnificent breath of fresh air, compared to Call of Duty and all of the shooters out there.

Year after year of the same exact thing. When I brought this up on AC's facebook. It was hit with so many thumbs up. So it's more then looked at by AC gamers as needing something new. Because AC is an adventure with stealth in it. But walking around in a square every game doing the very same thing over and over is not going to keep peoples attention long. On a bigger scale that is.

btw, I didn't click disagree. This site is a total fail with that system.

Totally agree with you and I clicked agree on yours. That system is blah. But yeah I know what you mean. I think co-op is something that NEEDS to happen in the open-world state. And perhaps as you are walking around the world, different types of events or matches naturally occur that you can jump into. So kind of an MMO feel as well. I really could see AC eventually going MMO.

The problem with AC MP is that it's too slow and methodical, sure the cat and mouse aspect is pretty neat, but it gets boring.

This is what I had hoped for. A Co-op open world. I hope they take a few notes from GTAV in the way of this that would be simply orgasmic!

I want:

* Large world with 10 cities.

* Online/offline all the same character

* Guilds/clans/teams

* Submittable player created content

* Shops & Auction houses to sell amongst players.

* RPG elements ( not a ton...just some )

* Fix the damn fighting.....people shouldn't be waiting their turns to attack...that isn't real....it should be a cluster F*** just like in real life.

* Custom Costume Design

* Custom Assassin Clan/group Symbol's

* 100's of hidden treasures which can be sold and bartered via Auction House.

* Randomly Generated Bad guys & Bosses for Assassination missions, so there is always something new to do.

* More creativity
