Holy hell. It's already four months and TloU still in the top 10!

Anyone have the latest info of how much TloU got sold worlwide?

Ezz20133872d ago

i think it over 5 million by now
because it sold 3.5 million in it early days

Inception3872d ago

Damn, 5 mill for a new IP in four months are amazing!

I'm sure Sony/ND will make the sequel for TloU. It's inevitable, especially with this high sales.

Ezz20133872d ago

@_@!!
after 3 month TLOU still in the top 10 ?! ..not only that it still in the top 3 ?!

incredible ....just incredible
and it's only on one system ...and very late in this gen

this game is a true gem

Did TLOU beat the Tomb Raider reboot in terms of sales to date? It is interesting if they sold similar numbers, that Sony considers TLOU a success, but SquEnix considers Tomb Raider a failure.

I forsee GTA V being in the No. 1 spot for a long while, given that there an no real heavy hitters coming out this gen. It'll prolly be at No. 1 well into the launch of the next gen consoles.

Depending on development costs, marketing, projected sales, and how much they get in return, and since Tomb Raider is a multiplat, and a big franchise, it could of sold more than it really did. A good example is R* with GTAV having profitted $800m the first 24hrs when it only costs like $265m to make, it's already over a billion. It's all business, a gambling and risky business, 4.17m RE6 copies may sound good to some people, but for Capcom it didn't meet their their sales expectations, now they broke.

WTF is Colonial Marines still doing there?

TheGrimOfDeath3872d ago

And to think it's selling more than Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix, what is the world coming too.

Happy to see Saints Row IV is at number 4. I thought it would drop to 10-20 after GTA V comes out, glad too see people still like some craziness in their games. :D
