Gaming Blend "It's very rare to see “Unreal Engine” and “survival game” in the same sentence. The big problem is that Epic's high-end blockbuster game engine isn't really designed for open-world style emergent gameplay. However, Flix Interactive is pushing the boundaries of the engine to whole new heights with Eden Star."
Armik Asheghian from Gamerscore Whores writes "Eden Star is a immersive first-person, survival creation game from Flix Interactive that blends innovative physics based combat, destructible environments and free-form construction with the exploration of a hostile alien world. We interview the creator behind the game to learn more and explore what this game does differently to Ark Survival Evolved and Rust."
Gary Cook and Lee Rand look at Eden Star.....
A survival game that meets tower defence. This game has a HEAP of potential.
Our fingers and gonads are crossed that it reaches that potential.
A great Early Access game this.. It's a bit of a cliche these days to talk about potential, but this really does.
A very well maintained sci-fi atmosphere, felt a bit like Metroid in tone.

"Here you can check out Respawn Rossco's 10 Incredible Indie Games from the show including upcoming release Sublevel Zero, the stunning Beyond Flesh and Blood and Eden Star.
Plus some really cool fun games in Theo and Lizzy, Raging Justice, The Escapists Walking Dead and one presented by two "ladies"(with considerable facial hair) called Not CoD which was interesting. Riot - Civil Unrest was new to us and looked incredible as did the now open world Unbox and the always fun Tango Fiesta was also blasting us back to the past."
looks perfect for Kinect.
Ahhhh, another Portal/Antechamber style game is very welcome.
I have been watching this one for awhile. Nice to see its still coming along. Formerly known as The Spire I believe.
