Two of the first games I'll get once I get a Wii u is Super Mario Galaxy 1&2.

Have yet to play them, never owned a wii.

I was hoping for $19.99. After all this time, a drop to $29.99 isnt that great.
Can't believe Galaxy 2 has only sold 2.7mill. As large as the install base is, I expected better numbers. It is my favorite Mario game on he Wii.

aww crap and i was already celebrating. i want these games but for their cost you can get so many ps3 games at once. nintendo sucks at pricedrop. selling last gen games like currently released games

In many stores I saw Super Mario Galaxy 2 for 60$, when it was released for 50$. What a rip-off....

So very, very true. People argue you cant compare the likes of Fifa, GTA, Forza and Halo (for example), the genres/styles differing so wildly, and while this is true, I still maintain...SMG2 laughs in the face of all pretenders to the throne. Truly a masterpiece.

This is great because I skipped the Wii entirely and now I'm starting to play all good Wii games on my Wii U.. Almost done with Mario Galaxy 1!

Not really. I picked up Rouge Squadron and Eternal Darkness for 22 bucks on Ebay. I see all kinds of deals on Ebay.

the games with the booklet n case with a decent presentation or just discs are a little cheaper but i mean the wii came out and now the wii u.. is my point 2 generations have came since then and still have a 25$ a pop on the best games with everything im trying to collect to add to my collection and discs just dont do it for me
