This game is going to be SO good. I really thought I was going to miss Cole a lot and I might. But this is such a step up in graphics and game play! Wow Next Gen on the PS4!

That and many 3rd party dev's are also using the DS4 if people haven't noticed ( Dice, Bungie, EA and Ubisoft ).

I agree. This is definitely one of the games to watch out for, both in gameplay and graphics.

And even though I'll miss Cole too I'm glad they're switching characters in order to keep things fresh.

@ ajames347

I don't know I just can't get behind the new character, I don't like him at all... Cole to me was awesome, he fit the game so much, this new guy I don't like him at all..

This game looks amazing but I'm on the fence, I just don't like the new guy at all... I'm just not excited about playing as him at all..

-But what they are doing with the graphics really looks amazing, I wish them the best, huge infamous fan but I think i'm going to have to pass.

But really excited to see that the system has some amazing power, can't wait to see the Order, Mad Max, and the division and whatever Naughty Dog is working on.

@Crazyglues I see where you're coming from--this guy is definitely more cocky than Cole, which can be hit or miss.

Can't wait for those games either!

Oh yeah, I can't wait for this and The Order. Everything about this game looks fantastic. And dat touchpad! They're really doing interesting things with it, integrating it into gameplay and such.

can't imagine how the ugly cole from infamous 1 would looks like on ps4 ? Uglier with sexy graphics ? can't wait to see that happening

Another article just came out about that, devs using the PS4 controller on their PC games as a preferred way to play. Sony really is turning things around this gen on all aspects.

InFamous SS is already a showcase for the PS4 and gives us a small hint at how great the unannounced big exclusives will turn out.

The only thing i don't like so far is that you have to use L2 and R2 to aim and shoot.
I just find it so uncomfortable

breathtaking :)

Looks fantastic. Feb 2014 can't come soon enough.

I can only imagine what is possible with the multiplayer/online of this game.

I'm hoping UGC will be back for mission creation, and for multiplayer I hope to see a mode using the variety of powers that Delsin obtains over the course of the game. So lightning vs. smoke etc.
ajames347  +   324d ago
That would be very cool to see. I also can't wait to see other powers that could be used in multiplayer as well.
FamilyGuy  +   324d ago
When watching this video you see clips where he's using some sort of rock ability already. I probably missed them being shown off in another trailer but you can clearly see some rock formation come out of the ground in this video while Delsin is attacking on a building root top.
DigitalRaptor  +   324d ago
That is one of the DUP soldiers that Delsin is fighting, using it to evade him. Not quite sure how that works, as the DUP are meant to be against people with powers. But it's similar to the enemies would evade your attacks in the previous game. Such as the ice conduits.

Love how they chose light power instead of just electricity for Second Son its something you dont see much in super hero's except Dazzler from Xmen and Admiral Borsalino in One Piece.
RytGear  +   324d ago
Apparently they aren't calling it light exactly as you would get power anywhere from the sun. Most people are calling it Neon which I think fits much better.
Inception  +   324d ago

Don't forget Captain Smoker "White Hunter" in One Piece. He can turn as a smoke just like Delsin.
Lord_Sloth  +   324d ago
Can't wait to play it! Just hope I can still use L1 and R1 to shoot.
Skate-AK  +   324d ago
I'm sure it will have custom control schemes.

I was able to try out the DS4 at Gamescom (not on Second Son)and I'm willing to bet you won't want to use the L1 and R1 buttons for shooting. The DS4 has a really great feel that has your index fingers rest naturally on the L2 and R2 triggers. It's shocking how much nicer the DS4.

I like the look of the light based powers. That could be interesting. Smoke and Neon are both leftfield powers and more interesting than fire/ice/electricity etc.
