BNR: Electronic Super Joy is a totally mad, comical and super bright pixellated platformer with a banging soundtrack and a hypnotic presentation. We got an insight into Mr Todd's likes and dislikes and how the game was made as well as a couple of highly amusing stories during the game's development. We spoke about his plans for Electronic Super Joy and possible projects. Mr Todd also shares some tips for budding developers and a hilarious story of what he had to do when money was short!
Electronic Super Joy is simply too little too late to make it a worthwhile purchase on Nintendo Switch - especially when you consider its higher price tag than even its Wii U counterpart. It does include a few extra level packs, but It's ultimately bettered by games which came almost a decade before it, so it's a hard recommendation unless you have the patience of a saint and absolutely adore the genre.
I love this game plus finished it, including both Dlc's.. 9/10 from me..a proper hardcore platformer
Neil writes "We're big fans of the games that LOOT Interactive drop, and so the arrival of a new four game mega bundle on Xbox One gets us a little bit excited."
GodisaGeek: "You haven't heard of this game, have you? Well, we hadn't either, but it's supposedly like Super Meat Boy so Adam thinks he's good at it."
