Phantasy Star Online 2 English: Asiasoft to publish in 6 Southeast Asian countries in 2014

Innumerable stars, won’t tell us where to go, to find out what exactly happened to the English version of Phantasy Star Online 2 that Sega North America announced last year for early 2013.

But if you want to play an official English localized version of PSO2, guess what? It’s no longer such a long, long run to the palace in the Sun. Can you see the light at the end of this tunnel?

Today Asiasoft has officially announced that it will publish the Windows PC version of Sega’s Phantasy Star Online 2 in six Southeast Asian territories: Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. (PC, Phantasy Star Online 2)

Asian countries got their release date first. Perhaps western criticism on Phantasy Star Online 2 Cuteness & Huge Breasts, made Sega hesitant to release them in the west.

No, Sega just is hesitant to do something that would put themself in the black. They like being in the red.
