Will Video Games Continue To "Grow Up" In The New Generation?

We've seen plenty of maturation and growth in the industry, but there's still a long way to go. Will developers keep going in the correct direction? (Culture, PS4, Xbox One)

I'd say this is where Nintendo shines the most. They keep everything fun and balanced. When you don't want to kill something with graphic blood. You can always turn to Mario and Link! The true classics will never die.
