Shacknews: ''Sony Online Entertainment announced at the MLG Spring Championships last weekend that all of Planetside 2's player classes would receive updates. The first will be the Infiltrator, with other updates being released every two months. Creative director Matt Higby told Shacknews that each would be structured similar to the MAX changes that came out in early May.''
Planetside 2’s future is uncertain as the IP was sold for a relatively low sum to a company with no history.

PlanetSide 2 is going to be getting its next major expansion this December. This new addition, titled “Expedition: Oshur” will be the first addition in almost seven years to bring an entirely new continent to the game.
