It's a 2D Black & White. I will probably give it a try, depending on the price.
I wish GOG would get Black & White on their storefront. I still have my discs but can't get it to run on Windows 10.
You're not the first person comparing this game to Black and White and I can't disagree with that, but there is one specific doubt that I can't get off my mind:
were players actually able to customize their religions in B&W? All I remember was telling people to have more children and occasionally tossing boulders at them!
As for buying it: it's on my wishlist but I want to wait a bit more before I decide... tons of these projects go through major overhauls before they see the light of day!
Today is the fifth anniversary of 2D god game, Reus from indie developers Abbey Games.
Look like it belongs on a tablet now. So this wouldn't be a big jump. Still great game.
