It's a 2D Black & White. I will probably give it a try, depending on the price.

I wish GOG would get Black & White on their storefront. I still have my discs but can't get it to run on Windows 10.

You're not the first person comparing this game to Black and White and I can't disagree with that, but there is one specific doubt that I can't get off my mind:

were players actually able to customize their religions in B&W? All I remember was telling people to have more children and occasionally tossing boulders at them!

As for buying it: it's on my wishlist but I want to wait a bit more before I decide... tons of these projects go through major overhauls before they see the light of day!
