Chris writes... "Flat out, I was not impressed. Before you get that lynching rope ready, let me explain. I was not impressed by the games. Pulling purely numbers, Sony showed off one exclusive new game that we had never seen or had confirmed, The Order: 1886. On the flip side, Microsoft showed off eight brand new exclusive games; Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Sunset Overdrive, D4, Project Spark, Crimson Dragon, Below, Titanfall, and whatever Black Tusk is working on. You do not have to count that last one if you do not want to, but it only brings the total new games down by one."
Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.
If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.
The first one I played, it was the one that made me fall in love with JRPGs and is still my favorite to this day. A masterpiece
The Nerd Stash: "The Wasteland is unforgiving, and there are a ton of brutal ways to die in the Fallout universe. We listed out the absolutely worst ones."
While many are fans of the Honkai Star Rail story so far, The Nerd Stash believes that the deaths of Robin and Firefly no longer carry much weight.
In other news, my house was demolished by a massive hurricane in Florida and I was like "Have you SEEN the Eye of Jupiter? I'm simply not impressed, hurricane. Step your game up."
We know there will be games. Anyone with eyes and have paid attention for the last decade knows sony has tons of studios to make exclusives. And we know multiplatforms are a given. MS had to show more games because they have really fallen off in terms of providing exclusive experiences you can only get on a microsoft platform.
What sony sold was ideology. Their philosophies and open defiance of anti-consumerist policies, are bigger than any one game. Sure Titanfall blew me away, but sony's respect for as a consumer, renewed my faith in gaming at a time when I thought it was on the brink of tipping completely.
Whats the point of these games?If it comes at the cost of your privacy,ability to trade games with friends(MORE THAN ONCE) etc...
@Mike apparently not -sigh-
hiphopgamer is that you?
As far as games go Microsoft did show quite a few new ips. I expect Sony to unveil more before launch.
