'Imagine GTA with command of Chicago's electronics'
By Alex Dale
Well, it turns out we were being watched all along. Hidden in our little Nintendo enclave, we thought we were safe from prying eyes, but we were dead wrong. Watch Dogs, the high-tech, high-concept open world adventure that stole the show at E3 2012, will be invading the privacy of a Wii U disc slot near you this winter. If you keep yourselves up to date with the Xbox/PlayStation scene, you'll already know that it's one of the most exciting sandbox games to emerge in some time. Our one-line sell would go something like this: imagine a Grand Theft Auto game in which you have the command of the entire city's electronics at your fingertips.
If you are looking for a bargain, check out the huge discounts across the entire WatchDogs series on Steam.
With the world of information and technology, privacy and security growing every day, Watch Dogs deserves another chance in the spotlight, now more than ever.
The only Ubi title that deserves a faithful remake right now is Splinter Cell 1.
All 2014+ Ubi titles are just underwhelming. Especially ones from 2016+ are just cancer.
The fist watchdog game was the best by far
After that they weren't weird and annoying with that hipster stuff. Aiden was a badass.
From VG247: "When cars slide, they leave tyre marks. In a game like Driver, they’re an aesthetic touch, part of the inherent cool of a handbrake turn. But those dark shadows in the road also tell a story. From tyre marks, you can determine the speed of a vehicle, when it started to skid, and its ultimate direction of travel – long after the car itself has vanished into the distance."
Why did they stop making some of the best games ever? Driver was one of them.
A story driven game with pure driving gameplay. I'd love to see a new Driver game or a remake of the first one.
This is a day 1 buy for me. The game screams gamepad integration.
I think previews like this should be banned from this site. It had no concrete Wii U information. He hasn't seen the game running on Wii U and the quotes he gave from the developers are months old... Come back when you have actual information from the Wii U version. Sorry if that was rant like.
This game will run nice on my OC GTX670. I'm interested in how the WiiU port will look. In case anyone does not know, All console version are ported from PC's lead development.
I sound like a PC fanboy but I'm not. I just throw my money at exclusives and best versions of games. I'm a graphics whore and have a fear of low res and Jaggies.
Any game for WiiU should be most anticipated.
This game does look like it'd use the Wii U's Gamepad very much and innovate as well. Glad to see Ubisoft still supporting Nintendo with a lot of their new IP's.
