Eurogamer writes: "The traditional image of the FPS player as a PC gamer with keyboard and mouse doesn't necessarily hold true any more, according to id Software's director of business development, Steve Nix, who told Eurogamer this week that he believes many hardcore PC FPS players are now getting their jollies on consoles.
Chatting to us in London about the upcoming console version of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Nix said that id is "absolutely" seeing a shift to consoles, even from formerly diehard PC gamers.
"I know that I have friends who are considered core gamers, who years ago were just keyboard and mouse guys - now, when a game ships on all platforms, they buy the console version, even though the PC version is sitting there and they have a PC that would run it perfectly well. It's just their preference," he explained."
Heading Out is a decent game for those looking for primarily a driving-based game, and it delivers a fun, fast-paced adventure game where you choose how your story will play out.
As we approach The Finals Season 3, you can ask Embark Studios directly what’s on the cards for the PS5 and Xbox shooter’s future.
The legendary perk system in Fallout 76 requires a bit of a rework and some fans think they have the perfect way to change up these perks.
I bought the PC version last year and lasted a day playing it. same as my mates. Most over rated game. So many bad things about the game it's untrue
I haven't bought an ID game since Doom 3. I tried the beta of Enemy Territories : Quake Wars and found it to be the dullest game I have ever played, so naturally I didn't buy it. I think if ID put as much thought into their games as they do their game engines they might produce a game PC gamers want to buy, the same goes for Epic.
A word of warning to console gamers, be careful with ID games, do not get caught up in the hype and wait for extensive reviews of the games before you buy them otherwise you might get very dissappointed.
