"What happens when many DC Comics’ characters come together? Often, they are able to combine their efforts to save the world. However, when someone corrupts Superman and an alternate dimension is opened, everything goes awry. Injustice: Gods Among Us takes a look at such a world, where the lines between good and evil are blurred, and you must fight to save the world from ultimate destruction. This sounds like a good plot for a movie, but what about a video game?", writes NintendoFuse.
Injustice: Gods Among Us launched 10 years ago today, birthing a brand new fighting game franchise from NetherRealm Studios.
Injustice turns ten years old today, so let's look back at why it matters
10 years on from the original release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, NetherRealm's other fighting game deserves recognition.
Good review. I picked this game up yesterday and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with it. I haven't seen the other console versions but I can testify that the Wii U version is very smooth and incredibly responsive.
The article makes a couple of good points though - the audio in general in the game is pretty quiet. I cranked up the surround system and forgot when I switched back to watching TV and almost cr*pped my pants at the volume. Apparently there's a patch on the way to fix the lack of online friend matches but so far I'm enjoying having my ass handed to me by random strangers :/
If you like beat-em-ups though, grab this. The cons are definitely outweighed by the pros.
