IGN - Ever wondered how developers make touch controls for PlayStation Vita? During a recent talk, Sony Bend senior staff game designer Ron Allen explained exactly what went into designing the controls for Uncharted: Golden Abyss, including how the studio thinks about each section of the handheld before committing to specific controls.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has received a bunch of new DLC, including two new gameplay modes, for free.
From base building to swinging willies, here are the best survival games around, which include a couple of less than obvious picks.
It turns out that many moons ago, Microsoft once had its eye on the Sony published LittleBigPlanet series.
Microsoft in a nutshell. Always tried to poach Sony employees, games, 3rd party games and devices like the depth camera that was turned into Kinect but was running on PS2 before Xbox 360. Wouldn't be surprised they wanted LBP. Just like they worked behind the scenes pushing the MLB to bring Sony's baseball game to Xbox instead of making their own.

They didn't spend years trying to develop their own baseball game. They wanted Sony's game.
They're scum.
"However, Healey said Media Molecule wouldn't have felt right doing that, adding it would have been "morally corrupt"."
Major kudos to Media Molecule for being an upright studio with principles.
Great, more stories like this please. Show the last of the zombies holding the line what we've been saying for years: Microsoft is anti competition, anti industry and has no interest in making games at all.
But hey, at least there's an Xbox Games Showcase to look forward to, right?
Well considering SONY just killed the series, LBP would've been dead by now either way. Though MM probably wouldn't exist by now either, so I'm glad they stayed with SONY, hopefully they don't get shut down any time soon or ever honestly.
I love how practically everyone holds the Vita wrong.. There is no reason why your fingers would be touching the back touch pad accidentally if they are resting in the grips like they should be.
According to IGN.. 142 Vita owners don't know how to hold it.. and people wonder why the gaming community is so stupid lately.
I have big ass hands also and I have never once had any of this happen. I put my mothers life, sisters and brothers on it. Amazes me, someone with abnormally big hands like me can hold it just fine without ever touching the front or back touch pad accidentally..
Hmm maybe because I actually place my fingers in the grips, instead of resting them on the back touch pad.. I can understand it being an issue at first but the Vita is not a controller, you need to hold it a little differently and it shouldn't take a person with common sense very long to figure that out.
You would have to have some seriously fat hands to be hitting those sausage fingers areas also.. This is such a stupid article..
I like to dim the lights when I touch my vita, even if it is in the worst place.
I touch my Vita at night. It's why the dinosaurs died.
Sony Bend rule.
One another note, I generally like touch controls, but having to double tap in Dokuro to transform between Dokuro or Prince SUUUUUCKS.
