GameZebo: Have you ever been hypnotized before? It seems a little scary at first, but it’s also a proven psychiatric method of bringing all those inner demons to light, and working through any hidden issues you may have. Well Maya, the psychiatrist heroine of Hypnosis, swears by this method, and she’s prepared to use it every chance that she gets to investigate the mysterious disappearance of her colleague and ex-boyfriend, Dr. Blanche, in this dreamy and hypnotic point-and-click adventure.

Diehard GameFAN: Hypnosis Review

DHGF: I didn’t dislike Hypnosis. In fact, I felt it was a refreshing change of pace from all of the hidden object games I’ve played recently. However, I think it fails to live up to its potential. Exploring the subconscious of mental patients in the name of helping them is a good idea. Having each subconscious be a wonderland of jumbled concepts is also a good idea. It’s just that the story goes off the rails and ruins everything. On top of that, the gameplay is too simple, and the strategy mini-game is pointless. You might have some fun with this game, but you’ll certainly leave it feeling let down.
