Can Crysis 3 live up to it's predecessors?
Hate to say it but I agree with this review, I really wanted to like this game but the graphics hold it up alot
I've never played this game, but I agree with the review score.
It was a sarcastic post.
Weird part was I was a huge fan of the second and first one, I feel the formula is getting old
You and the reviewer have horrible taste. No way in hell is Crysis 3 a 5 out 10 game. Crysis 3 is far better than most shooters. The fact that it happens to be the best looking game ever created shouldn't detract from the fact that the gameplay offers tons of fun and replayability.
That's what happens when they start popping out sequels in less than a year.
Hmmm... Crysis 2 - 2011 Crysis 3 - 2013 Yeaaah.....that's more than a year.
Holy cow, I totally forgot when Crysis 2 came out, feels like tomorrow. Either way, almost two years in development and Crysis 3 is still mediocre at best, still needed more time.
I disagree that Crysis 3 was mediocre, but hey, you're entitled to it.
Generic bore fest just like other two snore fest should of stayed on PC.
Played this game. It's not a 5. more a 7. Good game, but not the greatest of fps's.
MY biggest disapointed game so far this year. The 1st was 10x better! Getting board of generic FPS and lousy AI even from Cryteck!!
@kza, ur just posting BS, you even spelled Crytek wrong. This game is fresh compared to all other FPSs. CoD is only famous by association. People apparently dodge this game cause they never familiarised themselves with the series. Crysis just remains the outcast of this Gen. If u haven't played any of the Crysis games, i suggest try it out & you'll be surprised by it. I like Crysis 3 although but the campaign leaves you wanting more. I admit it was too short. The Campaign should have been as long as Crysis 2 at least. Fortunately Crysis is one the few franchises that u actually can replay a lot! I hope Crytek will release more Campaign missions as DLC, that will be kick%ss! Oh kza thx for the disagree, that was fast.....NOT
"If u haven't played any of the Crysis games, i suggest try it out & you'll be surprised by it." I don't think it'll surprise anyone unless you're going in with a totally biased opinion. When I played Crysis Warhead for the first time I got exactly what I expected - a decent shooter. With that being said I still didn't play any other Crysis cause Warhead didn't make me want to buy another Crysis game more than the games I got instead.
@Tyre seems like other people agree with me so fuck off grammer NAZI!
I wanted to LOVE this game since I was blown away with part 2. With Crysis 3, I kept on waiting for the WOW moment. The multiplayer wasn't improved in the least since part two and yet again I found myself frustrated with the various online issues. I met some really nice people with this game but by week 3, I said enough and traded it in at Best Buy where they gave me $40 for it.
i would have given it a 7, crysis 1 & 2 were superior
It is probably worth a five. I just dont understand why they bother to create such a beautiful world then only put you in it for 5+ hours. Its not like anybody plays this for the multiplayer. I know every FPS cant be 30+ hours like Farcry or Borderlands but 5 hours is really pushing it for a mostly single player game with little replay value.
Got it on the Origin 50% off sale for £20 It's not bad an it is pretty but I just did not care for the plot or any of the characters at all so it is a really meaningless game. It is also really limited and could so much more than simple straight line levels and there is no reason to do anything other than use the bow, It is the take care of every enemy weapon.
Just picked this up at origin.com for $29.99, formerly EA. They are having a huge sale on some of their EA games right now. Dead Space 3 for $29.99 too. I loved Crysis 2 and hate most shooters as it gets old shooting the same soldiers over and over in the same boring generic atmosphere. This is where Crysis differs, aliens and landscape with beautiful scenery! Awesome gameplay!
