From the review: "The clothing and furniture in The Sims 3 70s, 80s, and 90s Stuff pack are great additions to any Sims household as they successfully combine retro and modern visual styles. Ultimately, the stuff pack is lacking in content and is better recommended as a purchase when it's included in a sale."
Carl Williams writes, "Games on sale are a great way to grab good games at a great sale price and possibly try some new ones that might have otherwise passed by. Titanfall is on sale this week (20% off) and as usual, there are more than a few Battlefield, Sims, etc titles on sale this weekend so get to reading and grab the ones that interest you. These sales won’t last."
I would have bought Sims if it was the console version. My girlfriend has been asking for me to get her one.
GameZebo: Although I'm a huge Sims fan, the latest "pack" for the Sims 3 is a little lacklustre when compared to EA's previous instalments. The add-on in question is the 70s, 80s & 90s Stuff Pack which allows fans of this franchise to create some truly retro environments for their Sims plus lots of retro interactions or glam or grunge if that's your poison. <yes... poison was a nod of the hat to the 80's band>
CSM - Is It Any Good?
Yes, and no. The Sims 3: 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff does provide gamers with new clothing, hair and facial hair, furniture, and other household items to play with -- and it's a fun look back at the style and decor from these decades -- but there really isn't a lot to do with it.
